Hey everybody!  I know that I called everyone, but i wanted to update anyone else that I did not get a chance to call yet.  I will be starting my new job in DC (Rosslyn, VA) on September 15, 2008.  I will probably be arriving in the MD/DC area the week before, September 5th or 6th.  I will keep everyone posted.  I am looking forward to being around family again.  I will miss Florida, but I can always visit!

Either Comcast is getting slammed by Verizon, or they are feeling mighty generous lately.  Have you guys seen the new commercials from Comcast?  They will give you a free Wii if you sign up for their premier triple play, including phone, internet, and cable with HDTV.  Sounds like a deal to me.  Its at least worth it for the Wii, which still seems a might difficult to locate in stores.  Has anyone signed up for this yet?

Looks like uncle sam is going to make it very enticing to buy houses...here is one of the provisions from the recently agreed upon bill coming out of the senate to help the housing market:

 

Among the provisions on which both sides quickly agreed was a $7,000 tax credit for people who purchase foreclosed properties, Senate aides said.

I believe that I sent all of you a link to my friend's obituary.  Death is a hard thing to deal with, especially when it affects someone so young.  I was able to spend some time with my friend before he passed.  Tho he wasn't really conscious, it was a good thing to be with him and around his loving family and friends.  And now Grandmom is in the hospital too.  Man, life sure throws some curveballs sometimes.  I hope that each of you are able to go see Grandmom soon.  It will be good for both you and her.  I was able to see her on Sunday before I flew back to Miami. 

ok i am posting this from my pda phone. the site is pretty navigatable(sp) but the sidebar is always at the top of any page u goto. probably something to do with the way that drupal does the mobile coding. overall tho, it is cool. keep the improvements coming, o great webmaster! :-)
